Travel from Phnom Penh through Battambang and the magnificent temples of Angkor before discovering Tonle Sap Lake and enjoying time on Cambodia’s southern coast.

Welcome to Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival at the airport, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, begin exploring the city by cyclo. Visit the National Museum, home to an important collection of Khmer art and sculpture, followed by the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.
Finish your first day with a boat trip and enjoy views over Phnom Penh as the sun sets over the capital.

Overnight: Phnom Penh.
This morning, learn about one of the most difficult chapters of Cambodia’s modern history with visits to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields.
These important memorial sites provide insight into the Khmer Rouge period and its impact on the Cambodian people.
In the afternoon, continue with a cultural experience connected with traditional Khmer arts and performance.

Overnight: Phnom Penh.
Depart Phnom Penh and travel towards Battambang through the Cambodian countryside.
Stop at Udong, approximately 40 kilometres northwest of Phnom Penh. The town served as Cambodia’s royal capital from the early 17th century until the 19th century, before the royal court moved to Phnom Penh.
Continue to Kompong Chhnang, where you can see some of the traditional ceramic workshops for which the area is known.
Later in the afternoon, arrive in Battambang and check in at your hotel.

Begin the day with a visit to the 11th-century Ek Phnom Temple, where ancient carvings offer a glimpse into Cambodia’s long architectural heritage.
After lunch, continue to Phnom Banan and enjoy views across the surrounding Cambodian countryside.
Later, visit Phnom Sampeau, a distinctive rocky hill containing a series of caves. Some of these caves are also associated with the tragic Khmer Rouge period and today serve as places of remembrance.

Travel from Battambang to Siem Reap and begin your exploration of the extraordinary Angkor Archaeological Park.
In the afternoon, travel by tuk tuk to the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Enter through the impressive South Gate and walk along part of the ancient city wall towards Prasat Chroung.
Continue to Bayon Temple, famous for its monumental stone faces, before visiting the Terrace of the Elephants, the former Royal Palace area and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Rise early and travel by tuk tuk to Ta Prohm, one of Angkor’s most atmospheric temples, where giant tree roots intertwine with the ancient stone structures.
