Travel from Phnom Penh and the temples of Angkor to Luang Prabang and Vientiane on a 10-day journey through the cultural and historical highlights of Cambodia and Laos.

Welcome to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
Upon arrival, meet your driver at the airport and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Overnight: Phnom Penh.
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Phnom Penh and some of the city’s most important cultural landmarks.
Visit the National Museum, home to an impressive collection of Khmer art and sculptures from the Angkorian and pre-Angkorian periods.
Continue to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda before visiting Wat Phnom, one of the best-known landmarks of the Cambodian capital.

Overnight: Phnom Penh.
After breakfast, continue exploring Phnom Penh with visits to the bustling Central Market, Independence Monument and Wat Ounalom.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to sites associated with one of the most difficult periods in Cambodia’s modern history.
Visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung Ek Genocidal Center to learn about the Khmer Rouge period and its impact on Cambodia.

Overnight: Phnom Penh.
After breakfast, transfer to the bus station for the overland journey from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap by tourist bus.
The approximately 314-kilometre journey passes through the Cambodian countryside before arriving in Siem Reap, where you will meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit magnificent Angkor Wat, one of the greatest architectural achievements of the Khmer Empire.
Later, climb Phnom Bakheng to enjoy elevated views over the surrounding landscape and Angkor area around sunset.

Overnight: Siem Reap.
After breakfast, begin your day at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, approached by rows of monumental statues.
Continue to Bayon Temple, famous for its enormous stone faces, followed by the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.
Visit atmospheric Ta Prohm, where massive tree roots have grown around the ancient temple structures.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue along the Grand Circuit to visit Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan.

Overnight: Siem Reap.
After breakfast, enjoy free time until your transfer to the airport for your flight from Siem Reap to Luang Prabang in Laos.
Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant and an introduction to Lao cuisine.

Overnight: Luang Prabang.
After breakfast, visit the National Museum before boarding a private long boat for a leisurely journey along the Mekong River towards Pak Ou.
Along the way, visit local communities including Ban Xang Hai, where traditional rice whisky production can be observed.
Continue to Pak Ou and explore the famous caves before crossing the Mekong to Ban Pak Ou.
On the return journey, visit the villages of Xang Khong and Xienglek, known for traditional weaving and paper making.
Later in the afternoon, climb Phousi Hill for panoramic views over Luang Prabang, the Mekong River and Nam Khan River around sunset.

After breakfast, explore more of Luang Prabang with visits to Wat Visun, Wat Aham and beautiful Wat Xieng Thong.
Continue by road towards Kuang Si Waterfall, stopping along the way to visit Hmong and Khmu communities.
Enjoy a soft walking experience through the countryside and local villages, learning more about the traditions and daily life of different ethnic communities.
Arrive at Kuang Si Waterfall and enjoy time around its beautiful natural pools and forest scenery.
Later, transfer to the airport for the short flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Discover the major cultural landmarks of Vientiane, the capital of Laos.
Visit Wat Sisaket, Wat Prakeo, That Luang Stupa and Patuxai before exploring the Talat Sao central market.
Continue outside the city towards Buddha Park, stopping along the way for a view of the Lao–Thai Friendship Bridge.
Return to Vientiane and head towards the Mekong riverfront and Anouvong Park, where you can enjoy the atmosphere around sunset before returning to your hotel.
